Image Editor — Resize, Crop, Color Correction, and Layer Editing

A free browser-based tool for resizing, cropping, rotating, mosaicking, color correction, and adding text overlays to images. No upload required — everything runs locally, so it's safe for confidential images.

Three tabs for purpose-driven editing

**Basic**: Resize (with Lanczos upscale), crop, rotate, flip, mosaic, compress.

**Layers**: Konva-based canvas where you stack text, shapes, and images; each layer's position, size, and rotation is editable independently.

**Color**: Sliders for brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur, sharpen, plus 15 preset filters (vintage, mono, warm, cool, etc.).

Why browser-only processing matters

All editing uses Canvas API + Pica + Konva inside the browser. Images never leave your device — ideal for screenshots of contracts, business cards, or internal docs.

No upload latency, works offline, completely free with no signup.

Common use cases

• Mosaic personal data on screenshots before sharing • Crop and brightness-adjust images for social media • Add logos or watermarks across multiple images • Optimize image size for blog posts • Lanczos-upscale images for print

Frequently Asked Questions

Are images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in browser JavaScript. You can verify by disconnecting from the network — the tool still works.

Which formats are supported?

Input: PNG, JPEG, WebP. Output: PNG, JPEG, WebP. Format and quality are configurable per export.

Can I save layered editing state?

Currently only flat output (PNG/JPEG) is saved. A native editable format (.psd-like) is not yet supported.

What's the file size limit?

Depends on browser memory; typically up to ~50 MB works well. Resize huge images first if needed.
